I am drawn to the art of Quentin Blake, Sophie Blackall, Utagawa Hiroshige, Sergio Ruzzier, Carter Goodrich and Tomi Ungerer. I love making expressive lines in pencil and ink, and am gravitating to watercolor more and more, though I am equally at home with Photoshop and custom digital brushes.
My stories are always humorous, but underpinned with a strong sense of emotion.
